Demel

Established in 1786, the Demel pastry shop is a historic establishment in Vienna, conveniently located near the Imperial Palace (Hofburg). It served as an official supplier during the illustrious Habsburg era. Its neo-Baroque interior, crystal chandeliers, and apron-clad servers offer a nostalgic journey into the past, while the waiting line filled with fellow tourists offers a more modern experience. The famous Austrian Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake with fruit) is worth the wait.
