Zum Schwarzen Kameel
Since its founding in 1619 by Johann Baptist Cameel, “Zum Schwarzen Kameel” has been a mainstay in the heart of Vienna, known for its traditional charm and high-quality Austrian cuisine. By 1825, it had become a court supplier and a social hub for nobility and artists. Reportedly, even Napoleon visited, allegedly ordering wine and specialties without settling the bill. Today, it is frequented by prominent figures in Vienna’s art and business scenes.
